How to create a mold for a mask or prosthesis

If you ever wondered how to create a witch mask, or you want to make an orc out of a pretty person, everything starts here:



First things first, you want to create an exact mold of your face (or the person who will be wearing the mask) In that way, any prosthesis or special effects will be perfectly customize and look like it really belongs to the model.
This molds will be the "negative" and they are usually made out of latex or algi.

Once the mold is dry you can fill it with plaster. When your plaster is dry you can remove the the mold and you have a perfect model, exact replica of your face (hand, arm, leg for that matter) to work on. Check some open wounds make up here.
